12.30 p.m. my econometrics final exam was just over.

outside of main building some students were sunbathing!

Yeah! what a sunny day it was!! so bright, warm weather! in japanese one would say “Ii tenki desu ne” which means good weather isn’t it?” one of The tunnel door which was closed during the cold winter is now opened. I checked the wall thermometer, it was 20 C degrees at 12.40 n then went up to 22 C degrees at arnd 2.20 p.m!! wow!!! so warm……… I went outside of my dorm building, took a deep breath, feeling the best air I’ve ever breathed during winter season (most of the time I breathed “heated” air which is quite dry… feeling so thankful for being able to enjoy this very nice weather, and to complete it all, I heard the sound of birds…. how lovely isn’t it?
enjoying a warm afternoon in Japan is so…great! Since no pollution, u can fill your lung with as much oxygen you can… it’s good for health,na?

OK, thats all for today…

p.s. this year ’s winter is not so snowy. last year, in IUJ, the height of snow reached 2 metres while this year the max only 50 cm…. in addition, last year, at beginning of April, where the snow in other cities have faded away, snow was still around. But this year, today, the ground is already clean from snow!!!

Those were taken from my window

The first was taken on Oct 10, 2008 at the beginning of fall season, when traces of summer warmth were still there..... The trees were still green and the sky was very clear

The second one was taken Oct 24, exactly two weeks after the first one. Here u can see the trees are getting red

The third one was taken on Nov 7, (Again-two weeks later--it was coincidence though ). The trees are reddening.

and the last one....... was taken on Nov 20 (two weeks later!!) when the snow has fallen

what a beautiful transition...

Hope I can survive during this season... Jesus will help me, Amen
